5. Finger Clubbing
Some lung tumors make hormone-like chemicals, one of which can cause your fingertips' tissues to receive more blood and fluid, making them appear thicker or bigger than usual. When viewed from the side, your nails may seem to curve more than usual or the skin next to them may appear shiny.
