6. Watch Carbohydrate Intake For Every Meal

There are three macronutrients that make up all the energy we receive from our diet, which are proteins, fats, and carbs. Keep in mind that carbs have the most impact on blood sugar. It's not that you should eat no carbs, rather, you must be aware of the amount of carbs you eat in a given moment. For snacks, eat no more than 15 grams of total carbohydrates; and for meals the recommended range is 15-30 grams.
