1. Bread
Although there are no risks to your health or safety from microwaving bread, the awful flavor and texture make it worth mentioning. When the bread is heated, the sugar molecules in the starch in the flour melt, softening the bread. Unfortunately, those sugar molecules recrystallize as soon as it cools down once more. As a result, the bread becomes hard and chewy.
