12. McDonald's: Fries
It could just be years of conditioning telling us that this is what a french fry is supposed to taste like, but years later, after many cycles of the McRib appearing and vanishing and even recipe changes, they're still better than just about any fry out there. There's a reason these are the fries that other chains are trying to compete with. There are a lot of good french fries out there, but they aren't McDonald's.
