9. Cheddar Melt
Another cheeseburger variation that didn't ever work well enough was the Cheddar Melt. It was brought on in 1988 and was made of a thick burger topped with cheddar cheese sauce and grilled onions on a rye bun. It does sound pretty good. But for whatever reason, it wasn't really appreciated by the customers. Although it did make a few small comebacks, it has never stuck around.
