4. Stroke

Hemorrhagic stroke is a condition characterized by bleeding in the brain, usually caused by the rupture of blood vessels. Some animal studies have found that a high intake of omega-3 fatty acids could decrease the blood's ability to clot and increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke. Although further human studies are required to determine how omega-3 fatty acids may impact the risk of hemorrhagic stroke, it is wise to keep your fish oil intake to a moderate level.
