A drop in blood sugar levels due to a lack of carbohydrate intake can also cause severe headaches. It may also be accompanied by symptoms such as drowsiness and sleepiness. As you don't want these symptoms to reduce your productivity or lead to more serious chronic illnesses, don't cut out carbohydrates completely! If you still choose to cut back on carbohydrates, you can also add extra water to help counteract these symptoms.
