Honey is one of the magical foods that never go bad. Credit to its low-moisture form of sugar, it can forever thrive without bacterial growth when stored in a dry environment. Additionally, honey as an acidic enables itself to kill off other microorganisms trying to take advantage. Even if it turned crystalized, you could still place the bottle into hot water and bring it to life once again.
