6. Processed Meat Cheese
If you crave meat, choose those fresh products from local butchers. Studies have linked processed meat consumption to chronic diseases, including colon cancer, type 2 diabetes, and heart diseases. It has something to do with artificial ingredients and an abundance of added sugar and salt. Likewise, you should also avoid processed cheese products, mostly made with filler ingredients engineered to simulate cheese. One alternative is vegan cheese, which also has a similar taste and texture but a lot healthier.
