4. Ketchup
Ketchup has been at the center of food controversy for years. France once banned it from elementary school meals, out of consideration for children's health. Perhaps the most striking foreign prohibition on tomato sauce was that Israel banned Heinz from selling its ketchup as it didn't contain enough tomatoes.
