4. Apples

For every fall, apples should always have a place in your kitchen. They're high in fiber, which keeps you fuller longer, and vitamin C, an antioxidant important for protecting gums and healing wounds by enhancing collagen production. Many of the apple's nutrients are found in the skin, so wash it well and enjoy the whole fruit. Buying organic apples should be your best bet because they contain a lower concentration of pesticide residue than other types of produce.
