According to Anam Golandaz, clinical dietician of Masina Hospital, about 20% of migraine sufferers regard food as the trigger. The traditional food widely mentioned is wine, coffee, chocolate, cheese, nuts, citrus fruits, glutamate, and aspartame. A migraine headache usually starts 12 to 24 hours after consumption of the mentioned food. However, it is not the only case.
