Some aggressive consumers threaten to switch to other drinks, like Diet Dr Pepper, or Coca-Cola's archrival, Pepsi. At the same time, some recalled the infamous marketing failure in 1985, when Coca-Cola introduced "The New Coke," a sweeter version of the original one.
