A wrinkly skin on your "fresh" produce means that they are not as fresh as you think they are. When the skin of your fruits and vegetables begins to wrinkle or even peel, they are beginning to decompose. But if they have begun to "weep some moisture", toss them away promptly, because this marks the beginning stages of mold growth.
