9. Vitamin D

Vitamin D is important for your body to absorb calcium. And it also helps your muscles, nerves, and immune system work right. The majority of people get some vitamin D from sunlight. However, as you get older, your body's ability to convert sunlight to vitamin D decreases. Though it is hard to get from foods, fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines are good sources.
