3. Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas are a non-perishable snack that's high in protein, fiber, and several vitamins and minerals. A 1/2 cup (125 grams) of chickpeas has 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. What's more, they contain most of the amino acids your body needs, so their protein is considered to be of higher quality than that of other legumes. Research has shown that eating legumes with high-quality protein can help improve feelings of fullness and may aid weight loss.

To make roasted chickpeas, drain a can of chickpeas and pat dry. Brush them with olive oil and bake them on a lined baking sheet at 350℉ (180℃) for 40 minutes.
