When you give them the gift takeaway message
You've taken your time to think about what gift card to give. Why not let the receiver know about the reasons behind your choice? They can be delivered verbally or on a hand-written card because the point is to show them your care and sincerity. On the other hand, if you think gift cards are impersonal, you are very much likely to act in a way that also makes the receiver think so, too. So be confident about your own choice. Especially in this unprecedented year full of economic downturns and isolation, how much love and sincerity you show to your family and friends is so much more important than the money value of the gift itself.
