11. NuVegan Cafe, Richmond, VA
Picture yourself standing in a cafeteria-style line. To your left, you can see so many colorful options in the food bar. Green is the color of sweet kale salad and collard greens. Gold is the color of crispy chick'n drummies and tenders. Beige is the color of popular mac n cheese. You ask for all of them simply because they look too good to not to. You walk up to the check-out desk and can see the stuff fixing a "crab" cake sandwich. While you wait for her to finish up, you pick up an ooey-gooey jumbo cinnamon roll. Suddenly, you wake up and wipe off your drool on the desk. It's 7:40 p.m. and it takes you no time to make up your mind to ride to NuVegan Cafe to get dinner before it's closed at 8. And yes, they are open for dining in.
