He Has A Unique Stance On Fast Food
The minute most of us think of fast food, we immediately associate it with something negative – or something that isn't of restaurant quality. Ramsay has a different view, especially when it comes to fast food establishments around the world.
"OK, so let's get one thing clear," the chef says. "Fast food doesn't have to be junk food. Fast food can be good food. I have a show on YouTube called Scrambled. Every country I go to [for Uncharted], I'll do a scramble." He mixes in regional ingredients to play with local flavors and keep things interesting. "So, for instance when I was in Louisiana," he says, "I did scrambled eggs with beautiful crawfish. When I was in Guyana, I did scrambled eggs with black piranhas. When I was in India, I did the most amazing acorn squash scrambled eggs. Scrambled eggs are just like fast foods, they are both fast and easy to make, but that doesn't mean they can't be good foods."
