Cranberry recipes: spreads/dips

Cranberry cream cheese spread

Stir together:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts/seeds of your choice
  • 2/3 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits of your choice

Cranberry salsa (inspired by Buns in My Oven)

Finely chop and combine or put the following ingredients in a food processor:

  • 6 ounce fresh cranberries
  • 2 green onion
  • 1/8 cup cilantro
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cranberry sauce (inspired by Once Upon a Chef)

Bring the following ingredients to a boil and simmer for another 10 minutes on low-medium heat; mash cranberries to achieve consistency:

  • 6 ounce fresh/frozen cranberries
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • pinch of salt
