Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — New India Bazar is recalling Maggi 2 Minute Noodles 280g and 560g because the products may contain undeclared peanuts, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to consumers with peanut allergies or severe sensitivities; consumers should stop using the products immediately and not eat them. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recall affects specific lots of the product and was initiated after the presence of peanuts was discovered in packaging that does not disclose the allergen.

The recalled products are Maggi 2 Minute Noodles in yellow plastic pouches in two sizes: 280 grams and 560 grams, with lot code(s) 31159939CA and 4354M56. The 280g packaging bears an expiration date of December 2023 and the 560g packaging an expiration date of January 2024. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including New India Bazar locations in Santa Clara, Milpitas, Pleasanton, Dublin, Fremont and San Jose, and have been sold since the indicated packing dates.

Consumers who purchased the listed Maggi 2 Minute Noodles with the above lot code(s) are advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or to dispose of it safely; do not feed the product to anyone with a peanut allergy.
