Albertsons Companies Stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas Voluntarily Expands Recall to Select Items Containing Tuna Salad from Reser’s Fine Foods Due to an Ingredient Recall Linked to Possible Listeria monocytogenes Contamination

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Albertsons Companies is voluntarily recalling select ready-to-eat products containing tuna salad after a supplier, Reser’s Fine Foods, has identified possible contamination of breadcrumbs with Listeria monocytogenes. The contamination poses a risk of serious or fatal infections for young children, the elderly and immunocompromised people and can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. Consumers are urged to stop using these products immediately and to not eat them.

The recalled items include multiple tuna-salad products with the following lot code(s) and sell‑through dates: RM DUO TUNA SALAD W/CRACKER S (lot code(s): Jul 24 25 thru Jul 29 25), RM SALAD TUNA PREMIUM SS (Jul 24 25 thru Jul 29 25), RM SNACKER TRAY TUNA SALAD (Jul 24 25 thru Jul 29 25), RM SNDWCH TUNA SALAD CROISSANT SS COLD (Jul 23 25 thru Jul 28 25), RM TUNA SALAD OVER BED OF LETTUCE SS (Jul 23 25 thru Jul 28 25), SALAD TUNA PREMIUM (Jul 24 25 thru Jul 29 25), and various tray/cr oissant salad items (Jul 23 25 thru Jul 28 25). These products have been sold since July 23, 2025 online and at Albertsons, Randalls and Tom Thumb stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Consumers should dispose of the products or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund and should thoroughly clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that contacted the products to reduce cross-contamination risk.
