Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Western United Fish Company dba Annasea Foods Group is recalling 3,314.7 lbs. of Kirkland Signature Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke because green onions used in the product have tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious or fatal infections in young children, the elderly, pregnant people and those with weakened immune systems. Consumers are advised not to eat the product and to stop using it immediately.
The affected product is sold in clear plastic clamshell containers labeled Kirkland Signature with pack date 9/18/2025 and sell-by date 9/22/2025; lot code(s): Pack Date 9/18/2025 / Sell By Date 9/22/2025. The product has been sold since Sept. 18, 2025 in the deli section online and at select U.S. retailers, including Costco Warehouse stores in multiple states (Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin).
