Blueroot Health Issues Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg, Hazelnut, and Soy in Vital Nutrients Aller-C Dietary Supplements

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Blueroot Health of Middletown, Conn., has issued a voluntary recall of Vital Nutrients Aller-C dietary supplements after routine internal testing found the products may contain undeclared egg, hazelnut, and soy, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions for consumers with sensitivities to those allergens. Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and not to consume it.

The recall covers Vital Nutrients Aller-C packaged in white plastic bottles of 100- and 200-count capsules with lot code(s) 25E04-A and 25E04-B and an expiration date of 05/27 printed on the bottle. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers since Sept. 15, 2025. UPCs associated with the recalled lots include 693465524213, 693465000090, 693465524114 and 693465000083.

Consumers who purchased the recalled product should discontinue use and may return the product to Blueroot Health for a replacement or request a refund; if you do not have return instructions, please retain your purchase information and contact the company.
