Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Wegmans Food Markets has recalled Large Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken and Asian Peanut Dressing because the product may contain undeclared egg, posing a risk to consumers with egg allergies; consumers who have the product should stop using it immediately and not eat it. The company reports no additional hazards but advises prompt action to avoid allergic reactions.

The recall applies to any product with a UPC beginning 2-27306 labeled "Large Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken and Asian Peanut Dressing," with packed dates of Nov. 5–8, 2024 and sell-by dates of Nov. 7–10, 2024. These items have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Wegmans stores, and have been sold since Nov. 5, 2024.
