Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — ALDI is voluntarily recalling certain Wawona Packing Company peaches because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes life‑threatening illness. Consumers who have the affected peaches should not eat them and should stop using them immediately; ALDI advises customers to discard the product or return it for a full refund.
The recall covers Wawona Peaches 2 lb. (lot code(s): UPC 033383322001) and Peaches Organic 2 lb. (lot code(s): UPC 849315000400). These items have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers, including ALDI stores in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia, and via the company’s partnership with Instacart.
Consumers should dispose of affected product or return it to the place of purchase for a refund, and should not consume the peaches.
