Primal Kitchen Issues Voluntary Recall of Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil (750mL Glass) Due to Packaging Issue

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Primal Kitchen has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 2,060 cases of its 750 mL Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil due to a packaging defect that can cause the glass bottle to break and the product to spill, posing a cut and contamination risk. Consumers who have purchased the affected bottles should stop using them immediately and either dispose of the product or contact the company for return instructions; no consumer injuries or illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall applies to 750 mL Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil with individual package UPC 8-5523200719-4, case UPC 108552320071910000 and lot code(s) corresponding to “Best When Used By” dates of Aug. 19, 2025 through Aug. 21, 2025. These products have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 online and at select U.S. retailers, including stores in the eastern United States and California, and online nationally. No other sizes, formats or batches are affected.
