Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Vietti Food Group of Nashville, Tenn., has recalled Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans (15 oz.) because the cans contain undeclared soy, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with soy allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. To date, no illnesses have been reported.
The recalled product is identified by lot code(s): Best if Used By Feb 17, 2028 (code printed on the bottom of each can). Approximately 4,515 cases have been recalled; the product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia and have been sold since May 2, 2025.
Consumers should dispose of or return the affected cans to the place of purchase for a full refund or request a replacement; if unsure whether their product is affected, retain the can and contact Vietti Food Group for guidance.
