Vesta Fiery Gourmet Foods Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Wheat in 1.5oz Glass Jars of Benny T’s Vesta Dry Hot Sauces

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Vesta Fiery Gourmet Foods, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of several Benny T’s Vesta dry hot sauce 1.5 oz glass jars because they contain undeclared wheat, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to people with wheat allergy or severe sensitivity. Consumers should not eat these products and should stop using them immediately.

The affected products include Benny T’s Vesta Ghost, Benny T’s Vesta Hot, Benny T’s Vesta Reaper, Benny T’s Vesta Scorpion and Benny T’s Vesta Very Hot, all 1.5 ounce jars with lot code(s) FX001500 and FX001582 (expiration dates Sept. 2024 listed; all use‑by dates up to and including December 2024) and UPCs 7 94571 99498 0, 7 94571 99497 3, 7 94571 99490 4, 7 94571 99491 1 and 7 94571 99499 7. The company says these products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and deli cases and were distributed nationwide in the U.S.; the affected lots were distributed between Oct. 1, 2023 and Jan. 4, 2024 and have been sold since Jan. 2022/Sept. 2022 as noted for the respective lots.

Consumers should dispose of or return the product to the place of purchase for a refund or request a replacement through the company; preserve packaging if seeking credit.
