Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Penzeys Spices is voluntarily recalling 2.2-ounce jars of Brady Street Cheese Sprinkle because they may contain undeclared sesame seeds, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with sesame allergies; consumers who have these allergies should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. The company says no illnesses have been reported to date and that corrective actions to its production and packaging processes have been implemented.

The recall applies to Brady Street Cheese Sprinkle, SKU/Item Number 20756, with lot code(s) 37652-1 and 37652-2 and a “BEST BY JUL 2024” date, packaged in clear 2.2-ounce glass jars. These jars have been sold since July 5, 2023, online and at Penzeys retail stores nationwide; no other sizes or lot codes are affected.
