Recall of La Fiesta Brand Bread Crumbs (Unseasoned and Seasoned) for Undeclared Sesame

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — La Fiesta Food Products, LLC has voluntarily recalled 8 oz packages of La Fiesta brand Unseasoned Bread Crumbs (Pan Rayado) and Seasoned Bread Crumbs (Pan Rayado Sazonado) because the products contain sesame that is not declared on the label, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions for consumers with sesame allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using the products immediately and not eat them.

The affected items are La Fiesta brand Bread Crumbs (Pan Rayado) 8 oz, UPC#032327000886, lot code(s) 26032, 26073, 26082, 26092, 26094 and 26,400, and La Fiesta brand Bread Crumbs Seasoned (Pan Rayado Sazonado) 8 oz, UPC#032327000887, lot code(s) 26094 and 26123 and 6,240. The products have been sold nationwide through distributors to retail stores and online at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since April 10, 2024 (seasoned variety also sold since Aug. 29, 2024) through Jan. 22, 2025. Lot codes are stamped on the front of the transparent 8 oz plastic package with an attached printed label.

The recall was initiated after discovery of undeclared sesame caused by labeling errors; no illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers who purchased these products should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them safely if returning is not possible.
