Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Astor Chocolate Corporation of Lakewood, N.J., has recalled 1,092 Burnt Caramel candy bars because they may contain undeclared coconut, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with coconut allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using and not eat the product immediately.

The recall applies only to BURNT CARAMEL BARS (UPC #4099100202809) with lot code(s) 0101614649 and a Best By Date of 12/11/2024. The affected bars have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including through Aldi’s Haines City, Fla., Distribution Center, and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2024; no other lot codes or Astor Chocolate products are included in this action.
