Bickel’s Snack Foods, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Specific Lots of Butter Flavored Popcorn

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Bickel’s Snack Foods, Inc. of York, Pa., has recalled two lots of its 8 oz. Butter Flavored Popcorn because the product contains undeclared milk, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction to consumers with milk allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers should stop using the product immediately and do not eat it. The company says no illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall affects 8‑ounce clear plastic bags bearing UPC 70175 06021 with the following lot code(s): 20 NOV 23 Z4 E1 and 27 NOV 23 Z4 E1; lot code information is printed on the front of the package above the label. The product has been sold to a single distributor in Georgia and has been available online and at select U.S. retailers since Nov. 20, 2023.

Consumers who have the recalled product should discard it or return it to the distributor for a full refund and may request a refund or replacement by contacting Bickel’s customer service at [email protected] or by calling 717‑900‑1520, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern.
