Gear Isle Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Chocolate Product Due to Undeclared Sildenafil and Tadalafil

Raleigh, N.C., March 19, 2026 — Gear Isle is voluntarily recalling two male enhancement chocolate products after tests found undeclared prescription erectile dysfunction drugs, sildenafil and tadalafil, in the items, which may cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure if taken with nitrate medications; consumers should stop using the products immediately and not consume them. The company says no adverse events have been reported to date but warns that people using nitrates for heart conditions are at greatest risk and should consult a healthcare provider if they have used the products.

The recall covers Gold Lion Aphrodisiac Chocolate Male Enhancement Sachet, UPC 795847916279, lot code(s): no lot number, expiration 06/2027; and ilum Sex Chocolate Male Sexual Enhancement Booster, UPC 1002448578911, lot code(s): no lot number, expiration 12/25/2027. Both items have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; consumers should check packaging for the UPC and expiration dates above to identify affected products.
