Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Gina Marie Bakery of Waterbury, Conn., has recalled 1 lb and 2 lb packages of several cookie varieties because they contain undeclared allergens that present a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction; consumers with nut, sesame seed, or dye sensitivities should stop using these products immediately and not eat them. The cookies have been sold in Connecticut at Big Y (CT and Springfield, Mass.), Stop & Shop (CT), Labonne’s, Adam’s Markets, Highland Park Markets, Price Chopper, T+K Supermarket, Kensington Market, Public Market of Newington, Raggozzino’s, Lewis Farms, Durham Market, Liuzzi Gourmet, Cappetta, Roma Importing Market, Walsh Market, Tops Market, The Local Gourmet, CT Fresh Fruit and Produce, Wayside Market, Jimmy’s Store, La Molisana Sausage, New Fairfield Food Center, Pat’s IGA, Watertown Meat Center, Tommy’s Place and Market, Cavallo’s Deli, La Strega Italian Deli, and all Nardelli’s Connecticut stores with a Nardelli label; these products have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025 (consumers should check their package lot code(s) and purchase date).
