Baker Farms Recalls Baker Brand Curly Mustard Due to Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Baker Farms has recalled its Baker Farms Curly Mustard 16 oz. bags due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a pathogen that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems; pregnant women are at risk of miscarriage or stillbirth. Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately and not eat it.

The recall applies to Baker Farms Curly Mustard, 16 oz., with lot code(s) bak144-6806 and Best By 11-21-2024 (UPC 8 13098 02018 4). The product has been sold since Nov. 5, 2024 and was distributed Nov. 5–9, 2024 to distribution centers and online and at select U.S. retailers serving Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. The Best By date and production code are printed on the front of each package; no other bagged greens are included in this recall.

Consumers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it and may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or discard it.
