Whitley’s Peanut Factory Issues an Allergy Alert on Undeclared Peanuts, Milk, Soy, Wheat, and Sesame for Limited Units of Deluxe Nut Mix 12oz (340g)

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Whitley’s Peanut Factory of Hayes, Va., has recalled 12oz Deluxe Nut Mix tins because they may contain undeclared peanuts, milk, soy, wheat and sesame, creating a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions; consumers who purchased these tins should stop using them immediately and, if they have an allergic reaction, seek medical attention. The recall was initiated after the company discovered a limited number of 10.5oz Whit’s Party Mix tins— which contain peanuts, milk, soy, wheat and sesame—were mislabeled as 12oz Deluxe Nut Mix, and the recall has been expanded to include production dating back to the time the issue began.

The affected product is Deluxe Nut Mix 12oz (UPC 703795000551) with lot code(s): MFG 22823; MFG 25023; MFG 25823; MFG 29323; MFG 35623. These products have been sold since Aug. 21, 2023, online at www.WhitleysPeanut.com, via mail‑order catalogue and at select U.S. retailers and wholesalers nationwide. Consumers can identify recalled tins by checking the manufacturing code on the bottom of the tin against the lot codes above.

Consumers who find affected tins should discontinue use immediately and either dispose of them safely or request a refund or replacement by contacting Customer Service at [email protected] or calling 1‑800‑470‑2244, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET; if you experience an allergic reaction, seek medical care right away.
