Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Prime Food Processing LLC has voluntarily recalled Dried Croaker Fish after routine testing found the product was not adequately eviscerated, which can leave internal organs that may harbor harmful bacteria or toxins. Consumers are advised to stop eating the product immediately and either dispose of it safely or return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement; no illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall covers Item #AF1410 — Dried Croaker Fish, lot code(s): 25128 (expiration 12-28-27), packaged in clear packaging with green trim. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Asian grocery stores in AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, HI, ID, MA, MD, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WI, and has been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. Consumers should check packaging for the listed lot code(s) before consuming.
