Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — HY Success Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y., has recalled its 5-ounce packages of Fat Choy Kee Dried Longan because they contain undeclared sulfites, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with severe sulfite sensitivity; consumers should stop using the product immediately and not eat it. The company reports no illnesses or allergic reactions to date. The recall follows routine sampling by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and laboratory analysis that detected 22.21 milligrams of sulfites per serving.

The recalled product is identified as Fat Choy Kee Dried Longan, 5-ounce clear plastic packages, item no.: 61915, lot code(s): expiration date 12/31/2024 (UPC 89091-99846). These packages have been sold at retail stores nationwide and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; there were no online sales. Consumers should check packaging for the item number, lot code(s) and expiration date before handling.
