Blue Oven Bakery, Inc. Issues a Voluntary Recall Due to Undeclared Milk Allergens in Their English Muffin

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Blue Oven Bakery, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of its English muffin packaged in 13.04 oz sealed plastic bags because the product is misbranded: milk, a known allergen, is not declared on the label, creating a risk of allergic reaction for consumers with milk allergy or intolerance. Consumers who have these English muffins should not eat them and should stop using them immediately.

The recalled product is identified as English muffin (13.04 oz sealed plastic bag) with lot code(s) produced since April 24, 2025, through the last production date of Oct. 24, 2025. The product has been sold fresh online and at select U.S. retailers, including Harvest Market, 308 Main St., Milford, OH; Country Fresh Market, 8315 Beechmont Ave. #15, Cincinnati, OH; Kremers Market, 755 Buttermilk Pike, Crescent Springs, KY; Back Ally Mercantile, 221 Walnut St. #102, Lawrenceburg, IN; and European Cafe, 9450 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH.

No illnesses have been reported to date; anyone experiencing signs of an allergic reaction or foodborne illness should seek medical attention immediately. Consumers may return the product for a full refund at 1719 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 on Nov. 4 or Nov. 5, 2025, or dispose of it safely at home if they cannot return it.
