Tgd Cuts, LLC Initiated Voluntary Recall of Cucumber from Bedner Growers Inc., Which Had the Potential to Be Contaminated with Salmonella

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — TGD Cuts, LLC of Jessup, Md., has voluntarily recalled specific ready-to-eat tub and tray products because they contain cucumbers supplied by Bedner Growers Inc. that may be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and more severe illness in vulnerable populations; consumers should not eat the listed products and should stop using them immediately.

The recall affects named salsa and cucumber items with the following lot code(s): Salsa, Hot 6/12 oz. (UPC 840219170534; use by 5/25/2025); Salsa, Mild 6/12 oz. (UPC 840219170541; use by 5/24/2025–5/25/2025); Salsa, Mild 5 lb. (UPC 840219140445; Julian lot codes 25134–25136 and use by 5/27/2025–5/28/2025); Cucumber Sliced/Grape Tomato 50/2 oz. (UPC 840219184784; use by 5/22/2025–5/23/2025); Cucumber Sliced Unpeeled 5 lb. (UPC 840219160733; Julian lot code 25129); Cucumber Sliced Unpeeled 50/2 oz. (UPC 840219170657; use by 5/19/2025); and Cucumber Spears 50/2 oz. (UPC 840219179971; use by 5/19/2025). The products were distributed online and at select U.S. retailers and foodservice locations in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North Carolina and have been sold since May 19, 2025; no other products are affected.

Consumers who have any of the affected products should discard them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund; products are past their labeled use-by dates and are not expected to remain in commerce.
