Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Wholesale Produce Supply of Minneapolis has recalled fresh-cut cantaloupe sold under the “Harvest Cuts” and “Fresh and Finest” labels because the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, particularly in young children, elderly or frail individuals, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems. Consumers should stop using the products immediately and not eat them.
The recall covers fresh-cut cantaloupe sold in clear plastic clamshell containers under the “Harvest Cuts” and “Fresh and Finest” brands, including single-fruit cantaloupe packs and mixed fruit containers; affected lot code(s) have been identified by the company and are listed by retailers. The products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and were distributed to distributors in Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin, with possible further distribution into other states; the items have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Consumers are instructed to dispose of the recalled product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund and to avoid handling or tasting the fruit; those seeking a refund or replacement may contact Wholesale Produce Supply for claims and further instructions. For questions or to report concerns, contact Wholesale Produce Supply at (612) 378-2025 or email [email protected]; if you purchased the product elsewhere, consult the retailer’s recall notice for lot code details and return procedures.
