Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Chetak LLC (doing business as Deep) has expanded a voluntary recall of several Deep‑branded frozen vegetable and fruit products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, a pathogen that can cause serious illness. Consumers who have the affected products should stop using them immediately and either discard or return them to the place of purchase; do not eat the recalled items. No illnesses have been directly linked to these products to date.
The recalled products include Frozen Deep‑brand Sprouted Mat (Moth), lot code(s) IN 24353K, 24354K, 25072K; Frozen Deep‑brand Sprouted Moong (Mung), lot code(s) IN 25058K; Frozen Deep‑brand Premium Select Surti Undhiu Mix, lot code(s) IN 25158K; and Frozen Deep‑brand Premium Select Singoda, lot code(s) IN 25150K, in addition to previously recalled sprouted mung and moth lots 24330, 24297, 24291 and 24292. Chetak says these and additional products manufactured on the same equipment between Dec. 18, 2024, and Aug. 18, 2025, have been included in the expansion. The items have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025; lot codes and use‑by dates are printed on the back panel of the flexible plastic bags.
Consumers with questions or seeking a refund or replacement should discard or return the product to the retailer and may contact Deep Foods customer service by email at [email protected] or by phone at (908) 810‑7500, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. EST. Production of the affected products has been suspended while Chetak investigates the source of the contamination, and consumers should check their freezers for recalled items; if you cannot confirm lot codes, follow retailer guidance or contact the company for further instructions.
