Recall Details
Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Mt. Capra Products (Healthwest Minerals, Inc.) is recalling its Goat Milk Formula Recipe Kit because the product may not meet FDA infant formula requirements and can result in insufficient nutrition for infants, including iron deficiency anemia and feeding intolerance; consumers should stop using the product as an infant formula immediately and not feed it to infants 0–12 months. The FDA advises that storage instructions and recipe substitutions can create nutrient deficiencies, and one adverse event report involved anemia in an infant whose caregivers substituted a different multivitamin, producing a formula deficient in vitamin B12 and folate.
