Tovala Issues a Voluntary Allergy Alert on Undeclared Peanuts in Prepared Meals

Chicago, Jan. 14, 2026 — Tovala is recalling two ready-to-eat meals, the Gochujang-Glazed Pork Chop Bowl and the Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Bowl, because they may contain undeclared peanuts, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reaction for people with peanut allergies. Consumers who have these meals should stop using them immediately and not eat them.

The affected products are labeled Gochujang-Glazed Pork Chop Bowl and Gochujang-Glazed Salmon Bowl and bear Enjoy By dates between July 11, 2022, and July 14, 2022; lot code(s) correspond to the weekly shipments from the week of July 4, 2022. These meals have been sold through Tovala’s weekly direct-to-consumer meal delivery service and were distributed online and at select U.S. retailers; no other Tovala meals are included in this recall.
