Albertsons Companies Voluntarily Recalls Three Store-Made Deli Items Containing Recalled Cucumber Supplied by Fresh Creative Foods Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Albertsons Companies, supplied by Fresh Creative Foods (a division of Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc.), has recalled three store-made deli salad products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella linked to an ongoing outbreak associated with a recalled cucumber ingredient. Consumers are urged to stop using these products immediately and not to eat them; do not handle or serve to others. Those who have consumed the products and feel ill should seek medical attention promptly.

The recalled items are: SALAD GREEK AUTHENTIC FS (lot code(s) 29307000000–00901), READYMEALS SALAD GREEK SS (lot code(s) 29248300000) and SALAD GREEK FS (lot code(s) 29232900000). These deli salads have been sold since May 20, 2025 and have sell-through dates from May 20–24, 2025. They were distributed online and at select U.S. retailers including ACME, Balducci's Food Lovers Market, Kings Food Markets, Safeway, Shaw’s and Star Market in CT, DE, DC, MD, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT and VA.

Consumers should dispose of the products or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund and are advised to clean and sanitize any surfaces or containers that came into contact with the product.
