Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — Carrot Top Country Kitchens LLC, doing business as Carrot Top Kitchens of Bridgeport, has recalled five varieties of its 8 oz (226 g) hummus because the products contain undeclared sesame, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with sesame allergy or severe sensitivity; consumers who have these products should stop using them immediately and not eat them. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled flavors are Lemon Garlic Hummus, Lime Ginger Hummus, White Truffle Hummus, Sundried Tomato and Caper Hummus, and Cherry Pepper Hummus, identified on the plastic container by the labeled flavor and the manufacturer’s lot code(s). The products have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, online, at select U.S. retailers, at Rochambeau Farm Store (Bedford, NY) and at farmers markets in Connecticut.
