Raleigh, N.C., Nov. 3, 2025 — Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. has voluntarily recalled a limited number of Häagen‑Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars because they may contain undeclared wheat, posing a risk of serious or life‑threatening allergic reactions to consumers with wheat allergy or severe sensitivity. Consumers who have purchased the affected product are urged not to eat it and should stop using it immediately.
The recall covers Häagen‑Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars, 6‑count package, lot code(s) LLA519501 with a Best By date of January 31, 2027. The product has been sold online and at select U.S. retailers, including Kroger stores in AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, OH, OR, SC, TN, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI and WY, and Giant Eagle stores in IN, MD, OH, PA and WV, and has been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. No other Häagen‑Dazs products or other batches of these mini bars are included in the recall.
Consumers with the affected lot code are advised to dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund; those seeking a refund or replacement may request one from the retailer where purchased.
