Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — ALDI Inc. has issued a recall of Freshire Farms jalapeños, green peppers and green beans distributed in cooperation with Wiers Farm, Inc. and R.S. Hanline Co. Inc. because the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness; consumers should stop using the products immediately and discard them or isolate them from other foods to prevent cross-contamination.
The recalled items include Jalapeno (8 oz. bag), Green Pepper (16 oz., 3-pack bag) and Green Beans (16 oz. bag) with the following lot code(s) and UPCs: Jalapeno — UPC 4099100087680; Green Pepper — UPC 4099100087598; Green Beans — UPC 4099100087826. The products have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025, online and at select U.S. retailers, including ALDI stores in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Consumers should dispose of affected products or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund; do not consume recalled items.
