U.S. Trading Company of Hayward, CA is Recalling Dragonfly Jelly Bars Because it Contains Konjac Powder and May Present a Choking Hazard

Raleigh, N.C., Jan. 14, 2026 — U.S. Trading Company has recalled Dragonfly branded jelly handbag and backpack products because they contain konjac powder, which can produce a firm, gelatinous texture that has been determined to present a choking hazard to small children and to adults with functional or anatomic swallowing abnormalities. Consumers should stop using these products immediately and keep them away from children and at-risk adults.

The recalled items include Dragonfly Jelly Handbag (11.64 oz, UPC 721557357156; 17.63 oz, UPC 721557357163) and Dragonfly Jelly Backpack (7.93 oz, UPC 721557357170; 28.22 oz, UPC 721557357187), listed by lot code(s) on packaging. These products have been sold online and at select U.S. retailers and have been sold since Sept. 15, 2025. They were distributed nationwide.
